Al-Nassr put on a dominant display in their exhibition match against Inter Miami CF, securing a resounding 6-0 victory. The match, held at Mrsool Park in Riyadh, was a showcase of the Saudi club's offensive prowess.
Anderson Talisca opened the scoring for Al-Nassr in the 10th minute, firing a low shot into the bottom corner. Aymeric Laporte doubled the lead in the 16th minute with a powerful header, leaving Inter Miami goalkeeper Nick Marsman helpless.
Otávio extended Al-Nassr's advantage in the first half, curling a beautiful free-kick into the top corner from 25 yards out. The Brazilian midfielder made it 4-0 just after the hour mark, pouncing on a loose ball in the box and slotting it home.
In the 73rd minute, Talisca grabbed his second goal of the night, calmly dispatching a penalty to bring the score to 5-0. Laporte put the icing on the cake in the 83rd minute, latching onto a cross from the right flank and nodding it home for his second goal of the match.
Lionel Messi, who joined Al-Nassr in December 2022, made a cameo appearance, entering the game as a substitute in the 83rd minute. The Argentine legend played a more subdued role but still managed to create a few chances for his teammates.
Al-Nassr's victory serves as a reminder of the club's ambition to challenge for major titles in Saudi Arabia and beyond. The team, led by Portuguese coach Rui Vitoria, is currently second in the Saudi Professional League standings, just one point behind their arch-rivals Al-Hilal.
