Bernardo Silva scored twice as Manchester City came from behind to beat Real Madrid 4-3 in a thrilling Champions League semi-final first leg at the Etihad Stadium.
The Blues were relentless from the word go and went into the break 2-0 up thanks to a couple of Bernardo goals. Karim Benzema pulled one back for Madrid just before half-time, but City restored their two-goal advantage through Phil Foden early in the second half.
Vinicius Junior and Benzema brought Madrid level again, but Silva's thunderous strike was Manchester City's fourth goal of the night to secure a narrow lead in the semi-final.
City will take a slender lead to Spain after winning the first leg 4-3 with more of the same expected in the return leg at the Bernabeu next week.
