Domínguez Placed on 10-Day Injured List Retroactive to June 6th
The Philadelphia Phillies have placed right-handed pitcher Seranthony Domínguez on the 10-day injured list Saturday, June 8. The move is retroactive to June 6th.
Domínguez has been dealing with a right elbow impingement and has not pitched since May 29 when he allowed three runs on four hits in 1 1/3 innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
In a corresponding move, the Phillies have acquired outfielder Austin Hays from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for Domínguez. Hays is a 25-year-old left-handed hitter who has spent the last four seasons with the Orioles.
Domínguez, 25, has been a key part of the Phillies' bullpen since making his debut in 2018. He has a career record of 12-13 with a 3.99 ERA in 102 appearances.
Hays, 25, has a career batting average of .252 with 32 home runs and 105 RBIs in 309 games.
