Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Open Beta Begins August 30
Preview of Treyarch's Plans for the Game
Imprisoned Former Members of Requiem Stage Breakout
On Thursday, August 8 at 8 am PT, Treyarch will fully unveil its plans for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The reveal will include a preview of the game's multiplayer mode, which will be available in an Early Access Beta from Friday, August 30 at 10 am PT to Wednesday, September 4. The Open Beta will begin on August 28, two days after the Call of Duty: Next event.
The former members of Requiem, who have been imprisoned for over five years at a remote outpost in the Philippine Sea, have staged a breakout. The group, led by Jason Hudson, is now on the run and seeking revenge against those who imprisoned them.
The Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Beta will feature a variety of new maps and modes, including a new Gunfight mode that pits two teams of two against each other in a fast-paced, close-quarters battle. The Beta will also include a new Specialist class, the Outrider, who can use a bow and arrow to take down enemies from afar.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is scheduled for release on October 12 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
