Busy Friday in Cleveland! Note these parking restrictions, road closures

Parking Restrictions

In preparation for the upcoming events, several streets surrounding the affected areas will be closed to traffic. No parking will be permitted on the following streets from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM:

• Euclid Avenue between East 9th Street and East 12th Street
• Chester Avenue between East 10th Street and East 12th Street
• Prospect Avenue between East 4th Street and East 9th Street

Road Closures

In addition to the parking restrictions, several roads will also be closed to traffic during the events. These closures will be in effect from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and will affect the following areas:

• Euclid Avenue between East 9th Street and East 12th Street
• Chester Avenue between East 10th Street and East 12th Street
• Prospect Avenue between East 4th Street and East 9th Street
• East 9th Street between Euclid Avenue and Lakeside Avenue
• East 10th Street between Euclid Avenue and Lakeside Avenue
• East 12th Street between Euclid Avenue and Lakeside Avenue

Motorists are advised to avoid these areas if possible and to allow for extra travel time if they must be in the vicinity.

Public Transportation

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will be providing additional service on Friday to accommodate the expected crowds. RTA buses and trains will be running on a holiday schedule, and additional buses will be added to popular routes.
